Hello, and thank you for being here.

Therapy is a journey of self discovery. By "self" I am referring to what many Eastern philosophies call the "Self" with a capital "S", the true-self. Who you were before the world told you otherwise, who you have always been. The spirit or the soul. Our awareness of self energy often gets clouded over by compounded pain and trauma from our life experience.

In our work together we will build a foundation of safety needed to begin the journey of acknowledging the parts of yourself that may have taken the reigns of your life, for better or worse, and realign to who you really are. Because the only way to truly heal it for lasting change is to Feel. It. Through.

Simple? Yes. Easy? Not at all. This is some of the most difficult work that my clients ever do. Worth it? Absolutely.

Our work together means facing what has been avoided, repressed, and hidden from for months, years, and sometimes one's entire life.

And here's the interesting thing, when we acknowledge it, give it light, give it awareness; and maybe even permission to be there...that is when change happens, that is where the healing begins.

One important thing is that you will never do this alone, I am right there with you. Guiding you through the toughest and heaviest parts, reminding you of your strength and of your safety. Reminding you to breathe.

It is my honor to be on this journey with my clients, and I would be honored to be a part of yours.

"Trauma convinces us that the darkness is infinite, but the light isn’t gone—it is simply clouded by the storm of the past. EMDR is not about avoiding that dark; it is about walking through it, from the shadow into your true self. Together, we face the storm and sit with the pain long enough to prove that the darkness is temporary, the light is permanent, and even in the darkest places, the light always wins."
